The staff was so friendly and helpful especially Louis. His assistance was terrific in setting up tours and taxis for us. Pretty roof top setting, with a very clean room and lobby area. Felt secure with storing my belongings. Much police presence throughout the day and evening hours. It was fun being with the locals especially watching the under 20 World Cup on a huge tv screen at their local, small plaza.
The a/c unit in the room must be serviced. It was no fault of El Pedregal, but when the electricity went down due to a blackout, it was impossible to sleep due to the heat. We had to leave the windows opened and it was too noisy. However, we were asked several times if we were ok. The area is a bit seedy but we did feel secure.

Great value hotel that is perfect for budget travellers. The location is excellent, as it is close to restaurants and a plaza. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to leave our luggage in the hotel after checking out and even let us take a shower before we left. The room was clean, and the AC and WiFi worked well.
The noise from the main junction was pretty loud, so it's best to bring earplugs. The breakfast was not very substantial, so we ended up having to eat out.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the heart of Getsemani. The staff were amazingly nice and super helpful, making my experience even better. The location was perfect, with plenty of activities, bars, and restaurants nearby, yet the hotel remained peaceful and quiet. The rooftop terrace was my favorite spot, offering stunning views of the castle and the sea, where I could relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy a cold beer. The hotel's cleanliness, facilities, and central location to shopping and restaurants made it a top choice for me.

Great find! Close to everything. The room was clean and had cold A/C. The staff was friendly and helpful. There's a local store across the street and key locations are an easy walk away. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast and the discount offered for local tours.
The TV reception wasn't the best and the Wi-Fi was slow at times. Additionally, we had to pay extra for guests to come to our room, which seemed a bit unnecessary.
